Located just outside Witham, a 9-acre fully fenced and secure irrigation reservoir offering just 10 generously spaced swims. What the reservoir lacks in trees, it more than makes up for in character. Its elevated position provides uninterrupted views across the Essex countryside, along with some truly spectacular sunrises and sunsets.  Irrigation reservoirs have a proven track record of producing exceptional stocks of large carp, and we believe it has all the ingredients to follow the same path. The reservoir has been stocked with approximately 200 fast-growing, home-grown carp, with the largest already reaching the mid-thirties. The stock offers plenty of variety, from leathers and heavily plated mirrors to fully scaled fish, liners and everything in between—and, of course, some stunning commons. There is also a handful of original fish, with their numbers, sizes remaining largely unknown. There could be one or two surprises waiting beneath the surface, but only time will tell.
